Mr Bane was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Macquarie AirFinance in January 2022. Prior to this he was Chief Operating Officer with responsibility for Transaction Execution, Risk and Restructuring, Technical Management and HR.
Eamonn previously also served as Chief Technical Officer of Macquarie AirFinance. Before joining Macquarie AirFinance, Eamonn worked in Macquarie Aviation Capital as a Technical Manager with responsibility for managing Macquarie Aviation Capital’s spare engine operating lease portfolio. Eamonn began his aviation career with SR Technics in various engineering roles.
Eamonn holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Mechatronics from Dublin City University.
Industry experience: 27 Years
Liam joined Macquarie AirFinance in 2011 and has global responsibility for airline relationships and aircraft trading.
Prior to his appointment at Macquarie, Liam served as Managing Director and Head of Aircraft Finance for Lloyds Banking Group from 2008, and prior to that as Head of Aircraft Finance for HBOS plc with responsibility for the Bank’s commercial aviation financing activities globally.
Liam started his aircraft finance career in 1990 with National Westminster Bank, serving 10 years in corporate and investment banking.
With more than 25-years international aviation experience Liam has a successful track record in leadership positions spanning commercial aircraft finance, sales, acquisitions and leasing.
Industry Experience: 12 years
Michael was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Macquarie AirFinance in January 2022. Prior to this he was Head of Corporate Finance, responsible for treasury, capital markets and financial analysis.
Before joining Macquarie AirFinance, Michael worked at Macquarie Group where he was involved in the development and oversight of the Group’s transportation finance businesses, including Macquarie AirFinance.
Michael holds a Masters of Finance degree from INSEAD and Bachelor of Economics and Commerce degrees from the University of Western Australia.
Industry experience: 20 Years
In addition to directing the Credit Department, Will oversees the Compliance, Lessee Restructuring, Operations Risk, and Portfolio Management functions for Macquarie AirFinance.
Before joining in 2017, Will worked at aircraft lessor AWAS for 5 ½ years where he held positions in Risk Management and Portfolio Management. Prior to AWAS, Will worked in Rolls-Royce Civil Aerospace for 8 years in the UK, Singapore, Australia and the US.
Will holds a First Class Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from University College Dublin, and received a distinction for his Master of Science Degree in Aerospace from the University of Bristol.
Industry Experience: 32 years
Tom joined Macquarie AirFinance as Chief Technical Officer in April 2022, and he leads a team with global responsibility for asset management and technical activities on the entire portfolio of aircraft.
Prior to his appointment at Macquarie AirFinance, Tom served as Chief Technical Officer with AMCK Aviation and previously at Accipiter Aviation, he has also held key leadership positions at Avolon and CIT Leasing.
With an aviation career spanning more than 30 years, he has gained significant international experience across the global aviation industry.
Industry experience: 22 Years
Rob jointly heads the company’s legal department with Marcus Baldwin and has responsibility for the legal aspects of the Company’s leasing transactions, trading and OEM relationships (with Marcus responsible for the Company’s financing and corporate arrangements).
He has diverse experience in the aviation industry, having previously worked as Senior Legal Counsel at Airbus and in the aviation finance team at Norton Rose Fulbright in Paris.
Rob holds a BA in Law (Jurisprudence) from Oxford University and is admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales.
Industry experience: 11 Years
Eveleen is responsible for overseeing the Tax function of the company. Before joining Macquarie AirFinance in 2022, Eveleen was the head of tax at AWAS, subsequently DAE (2013 – 2022).
Prior to that Eveleen worked in senior tax and accounting roles in the financial services sector.
Eveleen holds a Business and Language honours degree from Trinity College Dublin. She is a Chartered Tax Advisor, an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a member of the Institute of Directors in Ireland.
Industry experience: 26 Years
Liam has been responsible for originating and closing more than $US3 billion of aircraft financing for clients worldwide. His industry achievements have been recognised with two independent Deal of the Year awards.
Liam started his aircraft finance career with National Westminster Bank, serving 10 years in corporate and investment banking.
He joined Halifax plc (later HBOS) in 1999 where he led deal origination in North America and subsequently deal origination and airline relationship management on a global basis.
He was appointed Head of Aircraft Finance for HBOS in 2008.
Industry experience: 12 Years
Edwin has marketing responsibility for the Asia-Pacific region.
He has previously worked in the aircraft sales team at Singapore Airlines, as Head of Aerospace in the Singapore Economic Development Board developing and executing strategies to grow the Singapore aerospace industry, and as Senior Director, Leasing with AerCap with responsibilities throughout Asia-Pacific.
Edwin holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from the National University of Singapore.
Industry experience: 20 Years
Priscilla has marketing responsibility throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
Priscilla began working in the aviation industry at prestigious Brazilian law firm Basch & Rameh in 2004. After that Priscilla then worked at Azul Airlines for 10 years where she led the Fleet Department being responsible for the airline’s OEM, Leasing and Financing relationships, including all fleet purchases and financings.
In 2019, she joined GECAS as Regional Manager and SVP Commercial for Latin America & Caribbean being responsible for developing and executing the commercial strategy for GECAS’ fixed wing aircraft for the region just before joining Macquarie AirFinance in 2023 as SVP Marketing, Latin America & Caribbean.
Priscilla has a Law degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and a Business MBA degree from Dom Cabral University with an extension at Kellogg School of Management/Northwestern.
Industry experience: 17 Years
Stephen has marketing responsibility for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
He has held numerous roles across the aviation industry, including as Vice President Origination with Amentum Capital (HSH Nordbank), Vice President Sales and Marketing with Macquarie Aviation Capital and Marketing Analyst with Orix Aviation.
Stephen holds an Honours Master's degree in European Economics and Public Affairs from University College in Dublin and an Honours Degree in Political Science from Trinity College in Dublin.
Industry experience: 12 Years
Ronan has marketing responsibility for France, Benelux, Eastern and Central Europe, Turkey, Russia CIS and North Africa.
He joined Macquarie AirFinance in 2010 as Vice President, Risk Management, before joining the marketing team in 2014. Ronan has held risk and marketing positions at CIT Aerospace International and Orix Aviation and was a sales executive at Aerospace Industries Limited.
Ronan holds a Bachelor of Business and Finance Honours degree from Dublin City University.
Industry experience: 10 years
Anna has marketing responsibility for the Asia Pacific region.
Anna joined Macquarie in 2016 and served as Vice President, Risk Management for the Asia Pacific region, before joining the marketing team. Her previous experience includes airline sales and marketing at Bombardier Commercial Aircraft (Singapore) covering the Southeast Asia and Oceania regions, and a range of finance roles at Qantas Airways including fleet and network planning, and financial planning and analysis. Anna began her career at PwC in Sydney.
Anna holds a Bachelor of Business degree from the University of Technology Sydney, Australia and holds a CA with the Chartered Accountants of Australia & New Zealand.
Matthew has responsibility for our airline relationships in North America.
Prior to joining Macquarie, Matthew held various roles in the sales, marketing, and engineering groups at Bombardier Commercial Aircraft over a 10-year career in Montreal and Toronto. Most recently, Matthew was Director of Sales with responsibility for Bombardier’s relationships with commercial aircraft leasing companies.
Matthew holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science (Mechanical Engineering) with honours from Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada.
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, Mark has responsibility as part of a broader portfolio management strategy for the sale of aircraft within the Macquarie AirFinance fleet and the purchase of aircraft from lessors, financial institutions and other investors.
He joined Macquarie in 2015 and prior to his Trading role he served as Vice President, Risk Management for the EMEA region.
Mark came to Macquarie from Apollo Aviation where he led the company’s credit department. Prior to that, Mark worked in Apollo’s corporate finance unit with responsibilities covering a range of transaction pricing, financial modelling and business forecasting activities.
Mark holds a Masters in Finance from the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and an Honours Degree in Business and Law from University College Dublin.
